Trusting God opens the door to a double portion. This means God gives you twice as much blessing to make up for past troubles. In the Bible, the "double portion" was the special right of the firstborn son. It represents an extra-large inheritance of peace, joy, and purpose.

1-Asking for more power: In 2 Kings 2:9, the prophet Elisha boldly asked for a double portion of his mentor's spiritual power. God answered this when he trusted and stepped out in faith.

2-You can receive this by letting go of old pain. When you focus on trusting Him instead of worrying, your heart prepares to receive an overflow of His love.
